Interroll presents the first speed controller developed specifically for pushback lanes in LIFO configuration. In designing this mechanism, our engineers focused their efforts on
the safety aspect of this high-tech element. It also facilitates quicker pallet storage for increased efficiency. The key to success is a speed controller which operates freely
during loading and slows the pallet flow during unloading.
This feature is particularly useful in the case of long lanes. With speed controllers working in both directions, the weight of the pallets combined with the resistance of the
rollers may prevent the forklift truck from loading the last pallets.
The LIFO speed controller provides essential flexibility: in existing installations, conventional speed controllers can easily be exchanged for Interroll LIFO speed
controllers.
In LIFO configuration (Last InFirst Out), a forklift truck loads and unloads the pallets at the picking face. This is a pushback system. To load a pallet, the forklift
truck pushes the pallet at the picking face towards the back of the lane using the pallet to be loaded.
When a pallet is unloaded, the pallet stored behind automatically takes its place, thereby ensuring that the goods are constantly available at the picking face.
