Safety Separator



Interroll has set a new benchmark in pallet flow storage.

Its tried and tested safety separator has been further enhanced by the addition of an "intelligent" component that optimises the decollating mechanism at the lane end. To make the offloading job of service staff (forklift drivers) not only easier but also a good deal safer, Interroll has come up with a purely mechanical time-delay device.

Depending on the task involved, this device can be set for a delay of 10 to 60 seconds. Particularly for systems with transverse pallet traffic, this means staff no longer have to work with complex and unwieldy control flags that take up a lot of space bridging the clearance between the pallet runners during the offloading process. As an additional bonus, channel depth can also be reduced by more than 200 mm.

Safety Separator

 The safety separator is now equiped with a knee-joint. This knee-joint is much more secure than all other systems in the market.
This new system offers:
  • Fully secure system
  • Accept a load up to 20 tons in accumulation
  • The pressure in vertical instead of horizontal
  • Short flap, reducing the most of risks of damage by the forklift truck
  • The possibility to remove the gap when 2 pallets remain stuck at the unloading side
  • The possibility to have pallets with differents load in one lane
  • A light load (~70 kg) is enough to activate the separator
  • Prevent any risks of pallets exit of the system
